The Area that I grew up in is the Sturgeon Chain, 5 lakes, all connected by waterways. Big Sturgeon, which has the Beautiful Mc Carthy Beach State Park on it’s shores which has not only a beautiful beach, large Norway Pine, but also great campsites. I was always either by the water, in the water, or On the water. Fishing, swimming, and hunting was a way of life. Our 2 story grade school had 2 teachers, 32 kids in grades 1-6. I graduated from Hibbing High School, got my A.A. in Biology and Art from Hibbing Community College, and my B.A. Majoring in Art(Pottery and Sculpture) with a minor in Biology from Bemidji State University.

My work experiences are many. From working on a Sawmill cutting logs into lumber, falling trees and skidding them into the landing(that’s a big part of our Northern Mn. Economy), Field Inspector for United Engineers constructing the Hibbing Taconite Mine, Beverage Distributor, driving the big Uke trucks in the mines, sand truck delivery and septic tank installation, fire-fighter on the Echo Trail for the Federal Forest Service on the La Croix Ranger District, Federal Forestry Contractor planting trees, herbiciding, and thinning Tree Plantations on the Superior National Forest, Receiving and shipping manager at a Discount Store, construction and Independent Contractor building homes, installing cabinets in new schools.

Many of you may know me, and may have bought some of your Pottery from me when I was a Self-employed Potter/Sculptor(Csargo Pottery & Sculpture) from 1990-2003 when I did many Art and Craft Shows throughout Minnesota, ND,SD,WI,IN, Michigan and Florida in the winters. I did Gas-fired cone 10 reduction stoneware and Raku.

Others in the Brainerd Lakes and surrounding areas may know me from an appliance store that I was working at, where I was the Top Sales Performer for 3 years in a row…a skill that I can use to sell your home.

I even built my own 3 story Log Cabin, mostly from the Balsam trees that I harvested from the 20 acres that I owned. Balsam has a good R-factor rating.
